Dubai: Pinnacle Magicians lift EMPORIA Independent Cup after 6-wicket final win
Haseeb anchors successful chase as champions reach target in 19 overs
DUBAI – Pinnacle Magicians were crowned champions of the EMPORIA Independent Cup Season 2 after defeating Thunder Strikers by six wickets in the final at EMPORIA Sports Academy in Dubai.
The champions produced a controlled all-round display after winning the toss and choosing to field.
Thunder Strikers were restricted to 140 for 5 from their 20 overs before Pinnacle Magicians completed the chase with six balls to spare.
Final chase
Thunder Strikers’ Raja Ram top-scored with 39 from 40 balls, while Sai Kalyan remained unbeaten on 34 off 25 deliveries, hitting three fours and a six. Nabeel Zafar was the leading bowler for Pinnacle Magicians, taking one wicket for 18 runs from his four overs.
Pinnacle Magicians reached 142 for 4 in 19 overs, with Haseeb contributing 33 runs to keep the chase on course. Shehryar Khan was named Player of the Match for his performance in the final.
Trophy moment
The victory confirmed Pinnacle Magicians as winners of Season 2. During the presentation ceremony, Faisal Siddiqui, Co-Founder of EMPORIA Sports Academy, presented the trophy to winning captain Omar Magician.
